Protest for Palestine 17th October – Occupation Breeds Violence.
In the last month, 29 Palestinians have been killed, over 270 arrested and 2700 injured by the Israeli military and the settlers they protect. At the time of writing, 8 Israelis have also been killed and dozens more injured. We can’t bring any of them back but we do have a way to fight back by demanding that this brutal occupation ends.
THJFA and TH PSC will be joining the protest called by Palestine Solidarity Campaign and a coalition of allies. Please join us on Saturday 12-2pm outside the Israeli Embassy to demand an end to the Israeli occupation responsible for these atrocities.
We are meeting on the corner of High Street Kensington and Palace Green, W8 at midday.
See a map of the location here on the PSC website.

Tower Hamlets Fundraiser for Jenin’s Freedom Theatre – 2nd May
Tower Hamlets Jenin Friendship Association / PSC presents an evening of music and spoken word in support of the visit of the Freedom Theatre during May and June when they will tour their production of ‘The Siege’ on their first ever visit to Britain and Ireland.
The history of the Freedom Theatre is inspiring. Under the banner ‘Generating Cultural Resistance’ it continues the work of its founder Arna Mer, using art to address injustice, oppression and their consequences in the occupied territories. The event seeks to celebrate that tradition and to raise money to support the visit.
All proceeds to go towards the costs of the company during their time in the UK.
